My beautiful Johnny Cash
Viola is coming along slowly but surely…
Starting to work with Natural Horsemanship. Looking into some wonderful people such as Buck Brannaman, Ray Hunt, and Tom Dorrence. Training a beautiful horse, Johnny Cash, who hasn’t been ridden in a year and a half. We are remember and discovering things together and it is beautiful.
“Horses are very sensitive animals. They have the sensitivity to be able to feel the weight of a fly. You folks who have been around horses know that because you put flyspray on them in the summer time……….and yet when you ride them, you ride them like they don’t have any feeling. You ride them with pulleys and cables, chains, wires, tie-downs and martingales. Why?” - Ray Hunt.

And she smiled to the ground, as if she meant to say,
When I was born my skin was brown, and my brains were made of hay,
And my hands were soft and thin, like the branches of this tree,
And I played the violin, because it liked to play on me,
And she smiled to the ground, as if she meant to say,
When I died my skin was black, and my brains all flew away.
